At Payva, we’re proud to be the first BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) platform that is purpose-built for creators, coaches, and digital entrepreneurs.
We understand that the creator economy is unlike traditional retail. That’s why we’ve designed our Creator Accountability Program to meet the unique needs of creators and ensure long-term trust between buyers, sellers, and our platform.
Why Accountability Matters in the Digital and Creator Economy
Most traditional BNPL providers serve retail brands that sell physical goods. In those cases, fulfillment is typically straightforward—products are shipped within days, and the transaction is complete. But in the creator and digital product space, fulfillment can stretch over months or even a full year. Whether you’re delivering an online course, a group coaching program, or a 12-month membership, your customers are trusting you to deliver on your promise for the long haul.
This extended fulfillment window introduces a different kind of responsibility. Customers aren’t just buying a product—they’re buying a transformation, a result, or a journey. That’s why Payva’s Creator Accountability Program exists—to protect the customer experience and uphold the integrity of the creator ecosystem. It’s a system that helps ensure creators consistently provide high-quality goods and services throughout the entire lifecycle of their offer.
How the Program Works
Payva offers creators zero recourse as long as default rates on their customer payments remain within 3%. This means that if customers fail to pay, Payva absorbs the loss—not the creator.
This model gives creators the flexibility to scale their businesses without the fear of chargebacks or clawbacks—as long as they maintain responsible fulfillment practices and keep default rates low.
If a creator’s default rate exceeds 3%, Payva does not suspend services or immediately penalize the account. Instead, a net recourse policy goes into effect. This means creators are only responsible for the unpaid portion, and they still keep any funds already collected from the client. This balanced approach ensures fairness and sustainability—while reinforcing the importance of consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Building Trust in a Long-Term Economy
At Payva, we believe that creators deserve the same access to flexible financial tools as retailers—but with the right guardrails in place. The Creator Accountability Program is our commitment to a thriving, trustworthy digital economy. It gives peace of mind to customers, encourages creators to overdeliver, and ensures everyone plays the long game with integrity.
By aligning incentives across the board, we’re helping to build a better future for digital commerce—where customers feel confident investing in their growth, and creators feel empowered to deliver life-changing results.
